Ensure quality assurance and control in all production and service phases. Develop and maintain quality control systems and processes. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with standards. Address quality issues and develop corrective actions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams. Monitor and analyze quality performance data. Conduct training on quality procedures. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. Perform internal audits and participate in external audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain detailed records of quality activities.
Manage and oversee the company's procurement processes, ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, and maintain supplier relationships. Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility. Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services. Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements. Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Conduct tests to ensure product quality and performance. Develop and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. Must have experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), proof load testing of cranes, Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs), offshore cranes, and IMDG testing of chemical tanks. Familiar with international standards and best practices for testing equipment in offshore, marine, and onshore environments. Responsible for the preparation of test reports and certificates as per industry standards. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
