This role will involve overseeing RFQs, generating insightful sales reports, and assisting with procurement efforts to streamline operations. Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in the engineering or industrial services sector, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with ERP and CRM tools like Zoho and Microsoft SharePoint. Manage and oversee the company's procurement processes, ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, and maintain supplier relationships. Develop procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective. Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms. Review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility. Approve purchase orders and organize and confirm delivery of goods and services. Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements. Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
Conduct tests to ensure product quality and performance. Develop and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. Must have experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), proof load testing of cranes, Cargo Carrying Units (CCUs), offshore cranes, and IMDG testing of chemical tanks. Familiar with international standards and best practices for testing equipment in offshore, marine, and onshore environments. Responsible for the preparation of test reports and certificates as per industry standards. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
